In partnership with WEDA Developers, we are excited to share with you Tradewinds Technology Park.

Tradewinds Technology Park is the result of a public-private partnership between WEDA Developers and Golden Isles Development Authority. Together we are working to bring the vision of a customer-centric technology park to life. Working collaboratively, we can utilize our knowledge of private, state, and local resources for each customer’s project.

Tradewinds Technology Park at a glance:

  • 750+ acres
  • Georgia Ready for Accelerated Development Certified
  • Recently renewed wetlands delineation
  • 851,000+ labor force within a 60-min drive
  • 4,000 feet from Interstate 95, exit 42

The partnership is a result of the increased interest that the property along I95 has received over the past two years. The properties that form the newly branded park, owned by GIDA and WEDA Developers, are next to one another on Georgia Highway 99 at exit 42.

“Over the course of the past two years, we have had several significant projects consider the neighboring sites, all varying industries. To create an environment that is appropriate for our target industries, and active projects, GIDA and WEDA Developers began working together to create a shared vision and plan to attract the right industry mix for our properties,” said Ryan Moore, President & CEO of GIDA.

The partners are focused on attracting companies that are in advanced manufacturing, food and beverage processing, and consumer-facing products. At the highly visible park, they also agree that organizations with an emphasis on sustainability are important.

“The site is visible from over 100,000 cars daily along I95 and is a gateway to the Golden Isles. It’s important that the companies that locate there are an example of the vision we have for our region,” said Jack Kilgore, Chairman of Golden Isles Development Authority Board of Governors.

The properties that comprise Tradewinds Technology Park are Georgia Ready for Accelerated Development (GRAD). The GRAD designation indicates that Tradewinds Coastal Logistics Park is shovel-ready, including renewed wetlands delineation.
