To support significant investments in our community, the Authority may assist in the creation and expansion of new businesses that drive economic impact, create high-quality jobs, and bring fresh opportunities to Glynn County.

As part of our mission to cultivate a thriving business environment, we offer potential incentives to qualifying businesses. These incentives are designed to encourage long-term investment and are subject to Board approval. The value and structure of any assistance provided will be commensurate with the anticipated fiscal and economic impact of the project.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for consideration, a new business must meet all of the following requirements:

Significant Capital Investment

The business must invest at least $50 million in real estate within Glynn County.

Revenue Generation Beyond the Region

At least 75% of its revenue must be derived from outside of Glynn County, ensuring that the business contributes to economic expansion rather than displacement.

Market Novelty

The business must introduce a new and unique offering to the local market, either through an innovative concept, service, or industry presence.

Job Creation

The company must create at least 25 new jobs that provide sustainable wages and career opportunities for Glynn County residents.
