Savannah Port Container Traffic Leaps Nearly 28%
The Georgia Ports Authority increased containerized cargo in March by 27.8 percent compared to the same month a year ago, for an additional 72,499 twenty-foot equivalent container units (TEUs).

A source of power over a billion miles away has just gotten a little closer. Israeli based Energiya Global Capital won a $30 million deal for a 20 year power purchase agreement with Georgia Power and will provide clean renewable energy to the Golden Isles.
