Hillpointe Marks Major Milestones at Tradewinds Technology Park

Brunswick, Georgia –The Golden Isles Development Authority (GIDA) and the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce, together with Hillpointe and its subsidiary PROponents, celebrated two major milestones today at Tradewinds Technology Park: the official ribbon-cutting for Hillpointe’s new 500,000-square-foot distribution center and office facility, followed by a groundbreaking for a 130,000-square-foot expansion that will continue driving industrial growth in Glynn County.

Local, regional, and state partners joined Hillpointe’s leadership team for the dual ceremony, including representatives from the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Georgia Power, Georgia Ports Authority (GPA), Glynn County Board of Commissioners, the GIDA Board of Governors, and the Chamber of Commerce. The run of show included remarks from community and industry leaders such as Ryan Moore (GIDA), GIDA Chairman Bill Dawson, GPA’s Stacy Watson, Glynn County Chairman Walter Rafolski, Hillpointe Co-Founders Steven Campisi and Kelly Mahoney, Wayne Neal of Glynn County, and Ralph Staffins of the Chamber.

“These milestone projects represent a significant step forward for our economic landscape,” said Ryan Moore, President & CEO of GIDA. “Hillpointe continues to invest in the Golden Isles with a clear commitment to job creation, innovation, and long-term growth. Their vision for Tradewinds Technology Park positions Glynn County for new opportunities and a stronger competitive edge in logistics and advanced industrial operations.”

The newly completed 500,000-square-foot PROponents facility is the first building operational within Tradewinds Technology Park and will support approximately 100 employees across distribution and administrative operations. The building introduces advanced ERP-powered distribution processes, engineered racking systems, streamlined material flow, and expanded sourcing and delivery capabilities across Hillpointe’s portfolio.

Hillpointe’s leadership highlighted how the investment elevates the company’s operational capacity and strengthens its ability to support construction and development projects across the Southeast. Immediately following the ribbon cutting, Hillpointe broke ground on a 130,000-square-foot speculative distribution facility, expected to be completed in Q4 2026. The speculative building will provide flexible, ready-to-occupy space to attract new employers and additional capital investment into Glynn County.

The Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce partnered closely with GIDA to coordinate the ceremony, support event programming, and welcome industry partners and community stakeholders to the Tradewinds site.

Ralph Staffins, President & CEO of the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the importance of the day’s milestones, stating:

“Today’s groundbreaking and ribbon-cutting is a powerful reminder of what vision, collaboration, and commitment to our community can achieve. We are incredibly proud of this investment in our region, and even more excited about the new opportunities it will create. The jobs generated here will strengthen families and fuel long-term economic growth. This is a milestone worth celebrating, and a win for our entire community.”

The program concluded with a group ribbon-cutting photo, followed by a ceremonial groundbreaking featuring representatives from the GIDA Board, Hillpointe, elected officials, and the Chamber.
