Share the Future Initiative

Before submitting your request, please ensure that your business meets the required parameters for each category of the Share the Future grant. Grant parameters are listed on the Share the Future landing page. The Golden Isles Development Authority (GIDA) believe in our local entrepreneurs. The Share the Future Initiative was developed to give local area businesses access to capital to help grow and promote their business. The following questions will help a member of GIDA understand your request.

Share the Future 2023

  • Majority ownership for grant applicants must live in Glynn County, Georgia.
  • A full-time employee is, for a calendar month, an employee employed on average at least 30 hours of service per week, or 130 hours of service per month.
  • About your grant request

  • A full-time employee is, for a calendar month, an employee employed on average at least 30 hours of service per week, or 130 hours of service per month.
  • All programs are a matching contribution of up to $10,000. For example, if the equipment is $8,000, GIDA will match up to $4,000. The remaining $4,000 must be covered by the business.
  • Please share any additional information that you feel will be helpful in a future conversation.
  • Any promotions and write-ups will be promoted after the business applicant has had the opportunity to review for accuracy of information. The Golden Isles Development Authority may ask the applicant for a quote and photo of the business to assist with any marketing or promotions.
