The Golden Isles Development Authority Opens Collaborative Space

The Golden Isles Development Authority (GIDA) and the College of Coastal Georgia (CCGA) are thrilled to announce a significant step forward in local entrepreneurship development. GIDA is moving into a new, dynamic space designed to enhance collaboration, innovation, and accessibility for our community at 211 Gloucester Street and has space to accommodate activities of CCGA’s Lucas Center for Entrepreneurship.

GIDA’s move signifies our dedication to creating a vibrant ecosystem that nurtures entrepreneurship, stimulates economic development, and accelerates the growth of businesses in Glynn County. This joint effort will bring together a diverse range of resources and expertise under one roof to better serve our community.
“After an exhaustive search, GIDA has found a home in our beloved downtown that will allow us to serve businesses and entrepreneurs alike. We are thrilled to be able to work with the CCGA to activate this new, collaborative space in meaningful ways that drive growth in our community. We invite everyone in our community to visit us, engage, and find ways to grow our community together.”, Ryan Moore, CEO & President, GIDA.

The collaborative space is strategically located in the heart of Downtown Brunswick, making it easily accessible to local entrepreneurs and business professionals where they can access a wide array of resources in one location. This includes mentorship, workshops, training programs, access to funding opportunities, and expert advice from GIDA and the Lucas Center.

“The College’s collaboration with the Golden Isles Development Authority further extends our commitment to providing valuable educational programs and services that have a big impact in our community.”, Michelle Johnston, President, CCGA.

This partnership not only symbolizes GIDA’s commitment to economic development but also ensures that local entrepreneurs have access to the best possible support and opportunities. Together, we are building a stronger, more vibrant community where businesses can thrive and contribute to the overall prosperity of the region.
