GIDA Releases FY2026 Year in Review
The Golden Isles Development Authority has released its Fiscal Year 2026 Year in Review, highlighting more than $70 million in new investment, 90 new jobs and five local business expansions across Brunswick and Glynn County.
Throughout FY2026, GIDA continued advancing major initiatives designed to strengthen the community’s long-term economic competitiveness. Key milestones included the acquisition and continued development of Mallard Industrial Park, the designation of Georgia Breakbulk Logistics Park as a CSX Select Site and the launch of Elevate Glynn—a $1 million investment initiative supporting local entrepreneurs and small businesses.
The year also brought the opening of several projects cultivated over multiple years, including Amazon’s new delivery station and PROponents’ 500,000-square-foot facility at Tradewinds Technology Park. Together with continued investments in workforce development, existing industries and site readiness, these accomplishments are helping build a strong foundation for Glynn County’s future.
“Economic development is about more than individual projects,” said Bill Dawson, Chairman of the GIDA Board of Governors. “With a strong economic foundation, strategic investments and a collaborative approach to growth, Glynn County is well positioned for a prosperous future.”
