Golden Isles Development Authority Agrees to Terms with Hillpointe

The Golden Isles Development Authority (GIDA) Board of Governors announced a significant advancement in regional economic development with the approval of a sale and lease agreement between GIDA and Hillpointe, LLC. This decision, reached during GIDA’s monthly board meeting, paves the way for substantial growth and job creation in the community.

Under the agreement, Hillpointe, LLC plans to develop a 55-acre site in Tradewinds Technology Park, located off Exit 42 and adjacent to Interstate 95, into a state-of-the-art warehouse facility and office space, totaling approximately 502,500 square feet. This project represents a monumental development as the first building in the park. Once operational, the warehouse facility will become a hub of commercial activity, attracting additional investments and businesses to the region.

The agreement between GIDA and Hillpointe, LLC is not just a landmark deal for the immediate development of the Tradewinds site. It is a strategic investment in the future economic prosperity of the Golden Isles region, promising to bring long-term benefits in terms of job creation, business growth, and community development.
