Manufacturing resources during COVID-19

The manufacuturing and industrial sector is vital to Keep Glynn Running. Our team is working on identifying and sharing resources for manufacturers of all sizes during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Development Authority’s assistance was requested for two critical missions assigned to the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD). Governor Kemp’s office is seeking responses to the following:

1. Manufacturers/Distributor who have access to, or can shift production to, critical healthcare supplies

GDEcD will not be determining if a request is valid or not, we will only track and report.

The Georgia Tech Manufacturing Extension Partnership is offering fact sheets, online webinars, and other resources specific to manufacturing companies.

The NAM is in contact with federal officials who are overseeing the response to COVID-19. We will work to share additional available information and welcome your concerns and input.

The Georgia Tech OSHA Consultation Program is operational, but as of March 16, 2020, our staff is working on a virtual basis. There is an easy online form to request assistance.
